Thomas Griesche has owned an Opel Ascona 400 road version with wheel arches since 1990. He had it rebuilt by the Rüdiger Wolf company in Rockenhausen into a Gr. 4 car similar to the one that won the Rally Monte Carlo in 1982. Mehr >

In 2007 Volker Kierspel and Christian Haas found a bodyshell of a Golf with a rollcage and it took them two years to build a copy of the Pierburg-Golf to be used on slowly sideways events since its completion in 2012. In 2018 Erhard Halbgewachs bought this Golf. Mehr >

After the end of MSD, Chassis 004 was sold to Romania where it was rallied for one year. Then it went to Turkey where it was used in 2004 and 2005. When this Hyundai Accent WRC was offered for sale in 2015, Ralf Fischer was faster than anyone else and bought it. Mehr >

Alpine enthusiast Alain Fournier bought a few years ago this copy of Bob Neyret Team’s car. This Alpine has quite a record in historic rallying with five Monte Carlo Historic Rallies, several Rally du Var, Antibes, Lyon Charbonières and more. The Eifel Rally Festival in 2011 was his first participation with Slowly Sideways. Mehr >

This Renault R5 was converted from a road car to a rally car in 2002. Then in 2013, Jean Fiddelars bought the car. Since then he drives it on selected Alpine club sport and classic car event such as the Ice Trophy in Austria. Mehr >

With the help of the official homologation papers, Thomas Schöfer converted a normal 280 CE road car into a proper rally car. The suspension and rear axle including a lower gear ratio and a limited slip differential even come from the remainders of the Mercedes factory team. Mehr >

Apart from Group B rallying, Henk van der Linde had always been a fan of the Opel 400-series (Ascona and Manta). When he heard at the beginning of the new century that there had also been a “Kadett 400” project, Van der Linde wanted to know more and started tracing these vehicles but unfortunately did not find much information. This Audi Quattro was converted from a production car into a copy of the 1984 factory car by the Reichert company in 2006 and drove in HB livery at slowly sideways for a few years. In 2010, it was sold to Greece where it was driven by Vasileios Velanis before returning to Walter Münch in Germany in 2014. Mehr >
