Audi 200 Quattro Group A
Harald Demuth has been coming to the Eifel Rally Festival for many years and Audi Tradition is happy to give him one of their irreplaceable originals to drive.

The 200 Quattro was not necessarily the most manoeuvrable rally car in the new Group A and therefore had a hard time in European sprint rallies. Not so in Africa, however, where the size was more of an advantage, because it often went very fast through the savannah and the long wheelbase was more stable. Audi was clever enough to give the 200 the necessary long-distance tests and took their chance with a double victory, Hannu Mikkola ahead of Walter Röhrl.
