Heute: Daniel Jünger / Klaus Schmidt (D/D)
Im Januar 2018 konnte Daniel Jünger diesen 309 erwerben weil er eine ganz besondere Beziehung zu diesem Peugeot hat. Sein Vater war damals Mechaniker bei Peugeot Deutschland und hat diesen 309 gebaut und bestreut und Daniel selbst war damals als Azubi auch dabei.

Gestern: Kalle Grundel/Klaus Hopfe, Deutsche Rallyemeisterschaft 1989
Peugeot Talbot Sport in Frankreich zog sich nach dem Ende der Gruppe B aus dem „normalen“ Rallyesport zurück. Der deutsche Importeur hingegen blieb aktiv und schickte 1989 einen 309 GTI in der DRM an den Start. Kalle Grundel und Klaus Hopfe wurden im 309 von Peugeot Deutschland unter anderem Zweite bei der Hessen Rallye.

In January 2018 Daniel Jünger was able to acquire this 309 because he has a very special relationship to this Peugeot. His father was a mechanic at Peugeot Germany and built and serviced this 309 and Daniel himself was an apprentice at that time too.

Yesterday: Kalle Grundel/Klaus Hopfe, German Rallye Championship 1989
Peugeot Talbot France decided to stop conventional rallying when Group B was banned but the German importers thought that they would carry on. So for the 1989 season a 309 GTI was prepared and entered by Peugeot Deutschland for Kalle Grundel and Klaus Hopfe. They took a nice second overall on the Hessen Rally, then a third place on the Hunsrück so that, at the end of the year, Grundel was fourth in the German championship.

En janvier 2018, Daniel Jünger a pu acquérir cette 309 car il entretenait une relation privilégiée avec cette Peugeot. Son père était mécanicien chez Peugeot Allemagne et a construit et entretenu cette 309 et Daniel lui-même était apprenti à cette époque aussi.

Hier: Kalle Grundel/Klaus Hopfe, Championnat d’Allemagne 1989
Au bannissement des Groupe B, Peugeot-Talbot France prit la décision de ne plus courir en rallye mais l’importateur allemand, Peugeot Deutschland, ne l’entendit pas de cette oreille et prépara pour la saison 1989 une 309 GTI confiée à Kalle Grundel et Klaus Hopfe. Cet équipage s’empara de la deuxième place du Hessen Rallye, puis de la troisième place à l’Hunsrück, de sorte qu’en fin d’année, Grundel se retrouva quatrième du Championnat d’Allemagne.
