Subaru schickte 1991 zwei Legacy RS Turbo zur Manx Rallye. Einer für Colin McRae und den zweiten für Francois Chatriot. Und sie dominierten die Rallye. Trotz Drehers in die Bäume, der Chatriot zwei Minuten kostete, beendeten sie die Rallye mit einem Doppelsieg und McRae wurde in diesem Jahr ebenfalls britischer Meister.

Yesterday: Colin McRae/Derek Ringer, Manx Rallye 1991
Subaru sent two Legacy RS Turbo to the Manx Rally in 1991. One for Colin McRae and the second for Francois Chatriot. And they walked over the opposition. Despite an off backwards into the trees that cost Chatriot two minutes, they finished one-two and McRae also became British Champion that year.

Subaru a engagé deux Legacy RS Turbo au Manx Rally en 1991. Une pour Colin McRae et la seconde pour François Chatriot, et elles ont littéralement écrasé la concurrence. Malgré un petit détour dans les arbres qui coûta deux minutes à Chatriot, elles ont terminé première et deuxième. McRae devint champion britannique cette année-là.
