Stefan Schlesack and co-driver Peter Schaaf will be entering the 2012 Eifel Rallye Festival in a Group 4 Ford Escort RS Mk1. This Escort replicates the victorious works car driven by Timo Mäkinen and Henry Liddon on the Daily Mirror RAC Rally of 1973. Like the original Escort, it features the light blue and white livery of the Milk Marketing Board.

Owner Stefan Schlesack was a regular in the German Rally Championship from 1987 to 1994. He was even crowned champion in the Group 4 class twice (1989 and 1993) at the wheel of a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth. For 30 years, Schlesack has been driving Fords successfully in rallies and races. His co-driver Peter Schaaf has also enjoyed a successful career in rallying winning the Rally Köln-Ahrweiler four times. The year, he is taking part in the German Rally Championship in a Peugeot 207 driven by Georg Berlandy.
