Put yourself in the co-driver's seat of a Group B Audi Sport Quattro E2

Secure a co-drive in one of the most powerful rally cars ever built. For the Eifel Rallye Festival, Wolf-Dieter Ihle, the owner of an original Group B Audi Sport Quattro E2, one of the winged monsters from 1985/6, is offering a ride of two laps during the shakedown of the event. Ihle's Audi is the original works car driven by Stig Blomqvist/Björn Cederberg on the 1985 Rally Argentina. This sensational co-drive is being auctioned on eBay for a good cause. The profits from the auction will go to the benefit of an association charitable.

The highest bidder will enjoy two laps in the 500 bhp supercar on the tarmac stage of Neichen near Daun/Eifel with a total distance of 6.2 km. The shakedown will be held on July 26th, 2012 from 5 pm. The auction will start on July 02th, 2012 and end on July 11th, 2012. The link to the auction will be published shortly. The highest bidder will be informed by the organisers of the Eifel Rallye Festival.

Information on the car:
This Audi Sport Quattro E2 was one of only twenty evolution cars built by Audi Sport under Group B regulations. In July 1985, it was the first E2 ever entered on a WRC rally when Stig Blomqvist and Björn Cederberg drove the 4WD monster on the Argentina Rally.
