Heute: Ross Ahlgren/Alistair Ashworth, Großbritannien
Ross Ahlgren behauptet von sich selbst, dass in seinen Adern Benzin fließt. Er beschäftigte sich schon immer gerne mit Autos, Motorrädern und Hubschraubern, aber die Gruppe B ist seine wahre Leidenschaft. Er besitzt heute zwei Ford RS200, einmal Chassis 077 als Evolutionsmodell und einen stark umgebauten Aphalt-Rennwagen-RS200. Sein Beifahrer Ali Ashworth hat daheim in Mallorca einen Metro 6R4 stehen, auch er ist mit dem Gruppe B Virus infiziert. Ross steckt auch hinter dem Projekt RSCC Distomo, einer an den RS200 angelehnte moderne Interpretation des Klassikers von 1986.

Gestern: Tore Bratlie, Skandinavische Bergrennen 1988/89
Dieser RS200 wurde nie bei Rallyes eingesetzt. Chassis 077 wurde 1988 an Tore Bratlie verkauft, der damit in Skandinavien an Bergrennen und im Rallycross teilnahm. Er nahm an 29 Rennen teil und gewann einige davon. Danach kam dieser RS200 wieder zu Ford wo er zum bislang einzig bekannten Evolutionsmodell umgebaut wurde für einen Kunden in Kanada, der ihn aber dann nicht nahm. 1991 kam er in ein Museum nach Deutschland, wo er 12 lange Jahre herumstand, ehe er 2002 nach England verkauft wurde.

Ross Ahlgren is a true petrol head.  He collects cars, motorcycles and even helicopters.  But, the passion is strongest for Group B rallying. At the present time, he has two Ford RS200s – an Evolution version Chassis 077 and a highly modified Tarmac Racer featured on the cover of Fast Ford. Co-driver Ali Ashworth is also a Group B collector with a pristine Metro 6R4 in his garage. Ross is also one of the key men behind the RSCC Distomo project, a modern interpretation of the 1986 classic based on the RS200.

Yesterday: Tore Bratlie, Scandinavian hillclimbs 1988/89
This RS200 was never used in rallying but was sold in 1988 to Tore Bratlie to be used mainly on many hillclimb and Rallycross events in Scandinavia. It raced in 29 events and won quite a few of them. After racing, it was sent back to Ford and converted into the only known Evolution version of the infamous “S” models destined for Canada. When the Canadian deal fell through, it was sold to a museum in Germany where it sat for more than 12 years. It was finally brought back to the UK in 2002 but again, used very little.

Ross Ahlgren est un véritable passionné de mécanique Il collectionne les voitures, les motos et même des hélicoptères. Mais, sa passionla plus forte est pour le rallye et le groupe B . À l’heure actuelle, il possède deux Ford RS200 – une version Evolution, châssis 077 dont il est propriétaire depuis plus de 7 ans et une version asphalte fortement modifiée qui fit la couverture de Fast Ford. Son Co-pilote Ali Ashworth est également un collectionneur de groupe B possedant une Metro 6R4 dans son garage. Ross est également à l’origine du projet RSCC Distomo, une interprétation moderne du classique de 1986 inspirée du RS200.

Hier : Tore Bratlie, Courses de côtes Scandinaves 1988/89
Cette RS200 n’a jamais été utilisée en rallye, mais a été vendue en 1988 à Tore Bratlie principalement pour être utilisée en courses de côtes et événements de Rallycross en Scandinavie. Elle a couru 29 sur événements et a remporté un certain nombre d’entre eux. Après la période de courses, elle a été renvoyée à Ford et convertie en la seule version Evolution connue des infâmes groupe «S» à destination du Canada. Lorsque le deal au Canada ne s’est pas fait, elle a été vendue à un musée en Allemagne où elle a séjourné pendant plus de 12 ans. Elle a finalement été ramenée au Royaume-Uni en 2002, mais encore une fois, a très peu été utilisée.
