ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival: Das Nennportal öffnet
- Ab dem 01. Februar sind Nennungen möglich

Diesen Termin haben sich die Fans des ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival (23.-25. Juli 2026) ganz dick im Kalender markiert. Am 01. Februar 2026 öffnet die Nennliste zum größten rollenden Rallye-Museum. Getreu des diesjährigen Mottos ‚To the 60s and back‘ werden im Juli über 160 Zeitzeugen der Rallye-Geschichte der letzten 60 Jahre in der Rallye-Meile in Daun ausgestellt und können auf den Demonstrationsstrecken in der Vulkaneifel in Aktion erlebt werden. „Wir freuen uns auf die Nennungen der originalen oder originalgetreu nachgebauten Fahrzeuge aus der Geschichte unseres Sports,“ freut sich Reinhard Klein, der Kopf von Slowly Sideways, auf die Anmeldungen. „Wie immer können wir aber maximal nur rund 160 Fahrzeuge zulassen! Wir nutzen wirklich jeden Quadratmeter, aber mehr Autos passen einfach nicht in unsere Rallye-Meile.“ Augenzwinkernd fügt der Verantwortliche für die Zusammenstellung des Starterfeldes hinzu, „immer dann, wenn sich zwei oder mehr Teams ein Serviceauto teilen, schaffen sie Platz für ein weiteres Rallyeauto – das freut sicherlich die Fans.“

Jahreshauptversammlung des MSC Daun e.V. im ADAC
Ein „volles Haus“ gab es bei der Jahreshauptversammlung des MSC Daun e.V. im ADAC. Der Veranstalter des Eifel Rallye Festival konnte 89 Personen begrüßen. Vorsitzender Otmar Anschütz ließ ein ereignisreiches und erneut sehr erfolgreiches Vereinsjahr Revue passieren. Höhepunkt war die Durchführung des Eifel Rallye Festivals, die ‚Dauner‘ unterstützten aber auch bei mehreren Rallyes, dem ‚Vulkanbike‘ und anderen Veranstaltungen. Auch Sportleiter Björn Schlömer blickte auf ein erfolgreiches Jahr zurück. 26 aktive Motorsportler vertraten die Vereinsfarben bei nationalen und internationalen Einsätzen. „All das funktioniert nur, wenn die vielfältigen Aufgaben aus einer funktionierenden Vereinsgemeinschaft getragen werden,“ erklärt der – wie der gesamte Vorstand – einstimmig frisch wiedergewählte Vorsitzende Anschütz und ergänzte: „Zu einer funktionierenden Gemeinschaft gehört aber auch, gemeinsam Zeit miteinander zu verbringen. Auch dort sind wir sehr aktiv. Sei es beim gemeinsamen Vereinsausflug zum legendären Goodwood Festival of Speed nach England, dem Helferabend oder die Clubabende in unserem Lager.“ Last not least folgte nach der Versammlung wie zum Beweis ein gemütlicher gemeinsamer Abend mit vielen „Benzingesprächen“.

ADAC Eifel Rally Festival: Registration portal opens

Fans of the ADAC Eifel Rallye Festival (July 23rd to 25th, 2026) will have marked that date in their calendars. On February 1st, 2026, there is another important date as the entry list will open for what is certainly the largest rolling rally museum. True to this year’s motto, “To the 60s and back”, over one hundred and sixty contemporary rally cars from the history of rallying taken from the last sixty years will be on display in July at the Rally Mile in Daun. Later they will be able to be seen in action on the demonstration stages in the Vulkaneifel. “We are looking forward to receiving entries for original or faithfully reproduced vehicles from the history of our sport.” says Reinhard Klein, head of Slowly Sideways, who is eagerly awaiting the registrations. “As always, however, we can only admit a maximum of around one hundred and sixty cars! We really use every square metre in Daun, but more cars simply won’t fit into the Rally Mile.” With a sideways wink, the person responsible for putting together the entry list adds, “Whenever two or more teams can share a service car, this makes room for another rally car – which is sure to please the fans.”
From 1 February 2026, entries can be submitted in the participant area of the website www.eifel-rallye-festival.de.
Annual General Meeting of the MSC Daun e.V. in the ADAC
There was a full house at the Annual General Meeting of the MSC Daun. The organising club of the Eifel Rallye Festival welcomed eighty-nine people. Chairman Otmar Anschütz looked back on an eventful and, once again, very successful year for the club. The highlight was the staging of the Eifel Rallye Festival, but the “Dauners” also provided support at several other rallies as well as for the “Vulkanbike” and other events.
The sports director, Björn Schlömer, was also able to look back on a successful year. Twenty-six active motorsport competitors represented the club’s colours in national and international events. “All this only works if the diverse tasks are carried out by a functioning club community.” explained Anschütz, who, as with the entire board, was unanimously re-elected as chairman. He added that: „But being a functioning community also means spending time together. We are also very active in this regard, whether it’s a club outing to the legendary Goodwood Festival of Speed in England, an event for our volunteers, or get-togethers at our clubhouse. Last but not least, the meeting was followed by a cosy evening together with lots of talk and exchange of stories among the petrol-heads as if to prove the point.
